Glowing Creations !

I have the pleasure of bringing you this new up and coming beauty company Glowing Creations ! From the pics the colors look just amazing. I have not tried their products as of yet but I hope to soon so I can bring you a review ! I wish this company a successful future, the owner is such a nice person and deserves nothing but the best.
Hello , My Name Is Alejandra & I have been in the beauty business for a little while now I started off being a freelance/self taught makeup artist & it inspired me to start my own pigment line. I been a freelance makeup artist for a little over four years now & my makeup business was just launched 5 months ago. Being a makeup artist inspired me to start Glowing Creations simply because using different colors everyday taught me the different shades of each color the makeup world has. What is even better about my pigment line is that they are ALL handmade. I take my time to make these products , there also mineral pigments meaning you can use them for several different things all at once . It being that my business has just recently been launched for this year and beyond I'm looking into spreading more word of us & just letting our company grow little by little , I do my best to please my customers !! At the moment I have another makeup artist who works with me , her name is Erika Vega she has been creating looks using my pigments basically giving everyone an idea what you can do with my pigments she has been doing a great job & I'm happy to have her work with me . She has been putting full effort into promoting my pigment line. At the moment my biggest goal that is trying to be reached is getting word out for our company. I have no regrets in all the hard work that has to be put in ! I will be coming out with more sets & in the future I will be adding more things.
thank you for your questions .. Attached I have added a picture of my work using glowing creations "bright skittles collection" & also a picture of my promoter using our "valentines day Collection.

Alejandra Ramirez !

I am happy to bring you Alejandra's feature, she is new to the beauty industry so I want to welcome her. You may know her makeup company Glowing Creations which is also new. She is very talented and at such a young age she has so much going for her. Help me to Welcome Alejandra, here is her story:
My Name Is Alejandra & I'm A Freelance Makeup Artist. To explain that a little bit better I have taught myself how to be a makeup artist , little by little I had different kinds of inspirations. I Started off from watching simple videos online , looking at girls who had there makeup done in the real life , nature & life its self . I Been Doing this For A little over 4 years now & I love it ! it became not only a hobby but a lovely passion that I only expect to get better with more practice. The smallest things can inspire me to create my looks it being the clouds, a beautiful sunset to a simple flower on the floor , I enjoy being creative & expressing myself in many ways. Makeup is a kind of art that has no perfection but only inspiration. Other than myself I enjoy seeing makeup artist who put there full effort into the passion of makeup, there is no judging or saying anyone is better in my eyes. When It Comes to having a favorite brand I am very open to trying different products , I love bright colors as well as neutral colors. Take a look at my work I hope one day I can be the inspiration of a new beginner just like someone was for me :)

Pretty Little Things Review

The best part of doing reviews for companies is knowing the originality of each company and their products. My pic below is of me wearing Calypso and Pegasus, believe me when I tell you that these pigments are smooth and the colors are vibrant. When I apply my shadows,  the first thing I look for is color and ease of application. Pretty Little Things has all of that and more, the metallic shine is incredible and it stays on all day. All day wear is very important to me as I think it is for everyone else. For those who haven't tried Pretty Little Things, I recommend you do because you won't be disappointed.

Makeup By Melaina !

I want to thank Melaina for allowing me to feature her, she is truly a talent in the Beauty Industry. Her pic posted above is really captivating isn't it? I love the glitter ! Her story is inspiring and it gives hope to those of us who aspire to be make up artists. Thank you again for doing this Melaina.
Makeup By Melaina : My name is Melaina Rosa-Montes I am 34 years old, I am from the Inland Empire/San Bernardino County Ca. I am a freelance MUA. I am also a hairstylist and specialized in basic and extreme color along with color correction, but my passion is and has always been makeup. I have always had a strong passion and addiction to makeup since I was a little girl. I can remember being 5 years old finding my mother’s makeup bag and sneaking a lipstick here and there, and giving makeovers to all of my dolls and stuffed animals. When I was 6 she gave me my first real makeup pallet. It was one of hers. I used sit and watch her put her makeup on so I already knew how to use it. I made my whole face up and thought to myself “wow I look so fancy and so beautiful like a model” That’s where it all started. As I got older I would always try to get away with wearing makeup to school and of course get in trouble for it. I have naturally large lips so my dad used to make fun of me saying I looked like I was “smoking Crayola’s” at school all day. I guess back then my technique was a little shaky.Since then I have grown to appreciate my features and embrace everything about myself. I would always do my own makeup for school dances, parties, and plays. Once I was a senior in high school I got the opportunity to attend cosmetology school at the ripe old age of 16. I fell in love with the beauty industry as a whole and gained a whole new perspective, love, and appreciation for the business and craft. Being so young in cosmetology school my friends would contract me to do their makeup and hair for parties and Halloween. Since then I have done quinceneras, weddings, bachelorette events, several school completions, and a few charitable events for my schools artistic team. I was one of the Captains for the makeup crew on the artistic team at Marinello’s school of beauty. We would perform our services for school plays, modeling events, fashion shows, completions, and charitable events/ About 3 years ago I got into face painting and special fx makeup which I have done on my children, myself, and a few customers for Halloween and special events. I am self-taught for the most part but I am now back in school attending My Beauty Mark Makeup Academy to get certified and gain some new skills on up and coming trends. I am striving to work on sets for film and television along with fashion. Apart from being a MUA, another goal of mine is to create my own brand and cosmetic line featuring all natural and cruelty free products. My inspiration comes from many different sources. I love all things art so my makeup looks go with my moods and how I feel that day, like an artist who paints from his heart, or a songwriter writes from experience. My daughter and her crazy fun sense of style inspire me to stay on top of trends and to always look my best. Bold Colors and anything that sparkles inspire my bright and bold looks. My “go to” “easy for me” favorite look is a dark smoky eye. I feel it looks the best for my face and skin tone, and makes me feel so sexy. My husband inspires me daily to always keep it “Hot” he loves when I dress up and put on my “full face” . My father was always passionate about his music career and lived it. He passed away this summer and in that has inspired me to go for it and do what I love and do it with passion. He was my biggest fan and supporter. My favorite MUA’s Well there are just too many that I am dearly fond of and that have inspired me to do what I do and aspire to become … Special FX: The legendary Rick Baker, Tom Savini, and Lon Chaney. Who can’t forget American Werewolf in London, Thriller, Hellboy (baker), the original Phantom of the Opera (chaney), Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and Friday the 13th (Savini) Makeup Guru’s: These are MUA’s that I have been following either on you tube, facebook, or instagram… The beautiful and ever so sweet Kandee Johnson, her talent is endless and her style is so fun and playful, it goes well with her sweet bubbly, genuine personality. She is all things beauty industry, she can do it all! Her skills are limitless. I have learned so much from her she is my number 1 favorite artist. Of course let’s not forget the Queen of Blending, Sarah Chambers, and the oh so talented Rose Shock, and Under Blue Lights All of these Artists have such wonderful talent and all have very different looks to them and their work. They inspire me to stay on top of trends and techniques and to try new looks and be more confident in my work. My favorite brand Man this is a hard one… of course I will always love MAC I have been using MAC since 2003 and have been ever since. They have always had such amazing eye shadows and pigments. Their bold and blend able shades made me lover from the start. But Like I said this is hard, I have several “favorites “ . I have to say Urban Decay would take the lead so far. I have everything from skin care items to finishing products with makeup in between from them and I love them all. The Shadows are all so vibrant and pigmented and really blend able. They have the cutest pallets and collections. I love their packaging, that is what caught my eye and made me fall in love with them at first sight. Their pricing is reasonable, and I can find something for every occasion. For foundations and face primers I would have to say, Laura Mercier. Her products are a bit pricy but well worth it. Foundations leave you looking so flawless and feel so silky and yet gives you that HD quality coverage. I am new to the world of glitter but I quickly became a huge fan and was dying to get my hands on some, so I found Eye Kandy Cosmetics at IMATS 2013 and fell in love instantly and since then I have been using their “sprinkles” in almost every look I have created. My 2 new makeup finds and new favorites are Sauce Box Cosmetics and Sugarpill. Sauce Box has such a great quality for such a decent price. The pressed shadow pallets are huge! I love love love their Crème De La Crème pallet and have used it everyday since purchasing it for the past 2 weeks now and can’t seem to stay away from it. I purchased a few Sugarpill pressed shadows to try my hand at somemore bold , fun, and creative styles. They are hands down the best when it comes to quality bold, beautiful, bendable shades. I can’t wait to get a few of their pallets now., Makeup By Melaina My name is Melaina Rosa-Montes I am 34 years old, I am from the Inland Empire/San Bernardino County Ca. I am a freelance MUA. GlitterGirlC !!!!

This lady is one of my favorite MUA's of all time, she was one of the first people I came in contact with when I first started my page, she has been nothing but supportive of me and my endeavors. GlitterGirl C is one of the nicest most talented people in this world today, her looks inspire us all ! Thank you for giving me this opportunity, I am truly honored.

I've been interested in makeup since I was 3 years old. Then, I especially liked red lips and lots of blush! ;D From I was 13-15 years old I loved matching my eyeshadow color with my outfit. When I wore green clothes, I had a green eyeshadow on etc. In highschool I figured out that the boring color "brown" actually made my blue eyes pop, so I wore that every day for school. But it wasn't until the autumn of 2010, I got interested in the kind of artsy makeup that I do now. I found a makeup tutorial on Youtube and after that I was hooked! All the colors used, the placement, the glitter and shapes were magical to me! <3

That Christmas, I started buying my own colorful makeup and experimenting with it. In the spring of 2011 I posted my fist looks in the Makeup Geek weekly Challenges and in the autumn that same year, I started posting my looks on the makeup community, Makeupbee. When I saw that people actually liked my looks on there, I was brave enough to start my own blog. After that I started my facebook page (http://full.sc/UA3nvJand then the Youtube channel, (http://full.sc/SK3bIA). :)

I don't have a spesific thing that inspires me when creating these looks, it's mostly just a color combo that pops up in my head!

I have a lot of favorite Makeup artists that inspire me though, like Karolina from "Grzee", Meredith from "Pigments and Palettes", Kiki from "Luciferismydad", Veronica from "Bows and Curtseys", Sarah from "Sarah Chambers Makeup Desing" and many, many more! :D

The picture I've sent you is my favorite look that I've created! It's a Cheshire Cat inspired look, from my Alice in Wonderland series. I like it the most, because I used 3 months planning it, to make it perfect. I like the shape, the colors, the glitter and the matching lashes! <3 Here is the video tutorial for the look: http://full.sc/PDr5XF

I used all Sugarpill eyeshadows for this look, even the lashes are Sugarpill, so I think it's safe to say that that is my favorite makeup brand. They have the most beautiful and most pigmented shadows I know, which are so easy to work with! Two other favorite brands of mine are Makeup Geek and Inglot! They have amazing shadows and the quality of them is the best! <3

So yes, that was a bit about me. Now, I'll just keep on posting one video tutorial each week and hopefully get to inspire people with my looks. :)

Angelic Kreationz !

I'm very happy to be bringing you all Angelic Kreationz ! Aren't her creations beautiful ! I have a cell phone and one of these cases would look perfect around it. I can't believe how much talent this lady has, she devotes her time and creativity and comes out with such beautiful accessories. Thank you for letting me feature you Angelic Kreationz, you'll products are just amazing.
So my name is Berta Chavarria, im 25 and in a stay at home mother to 2 beautiful children.  I've been making cell phone cases for about 2 years to help pay for my daughters medical bills. I started doing it just for friends and family members, but it grew through word of mouth.  I love what I do because its a part time job and I get to show my creativity through it. I started my facebook page www.facebook.com/angelickreationz back in June.  I'm currently in the Process of making an  online store to bring in more clients. I'm very dedicated to what I do,  and I'm so thankful you are giving me this opportunity.

BeautiMark Bella !

This is one of my favorite parts of doing these features, exposing you all to the new talent that's out there right now. BeautiMark Bella is a new artist that has entered the world of beauty, lets all give her a warm welcome ! Go show her some love and LIKE her page :) Here is her feature :
I have been a makeup lover since 2000. I first discovered my love for makeup, through my first blog review. My inspiration for my looks are wrestling and comic books. I love the vibrant colors, and re-creating their looks. My favorite MUA is Marlena from Makeup Geek, she creates very unique looks and very informative. I received my start loving makeup by collecting drugstore products, and practice creating different looks. My favorite beauty brand is physicians formula. I love their natural formula, and their happy transluscent powder makes my skin look brighter.

Evania Chavez !

I have the honor of bringing you Evania Chavez's feature. I have had my page for almost 3 months now and didn't realize that I hadn't asked Evania to be featured yet, I'm glad she was gracious enough to do it. She is very talented and I see such a bright future ahead of her. Go check out her page and show her some love.
Hi :) I am Evania Chavez and I have a makeup page, IntoxicatingMakeup by Evania. I've always had a part of me that loved makeup but, sadly, growing up I never saw it as art or a way to be expressive. Most of my life I was told, if you wear makeup you should apply it so it is barely noticeable. All I owned when I began using makeup was neutral colors (not that there is anything wrong with that, just nothing fancy). I was told that because of my skin color and eye color I shouldn't use blues, greens, or anything colorful. I was devastated. So I stopped having much interest in makeup. I felt at that time that it had too many rules and was too restrictive. That was until I found out I could go crazy and colorful on my nails!
I began doing crazy and fun nail art and while looking up a "Disney Scene" for a nail look I stumbled upon Katie Alves. What she did on her eyes blew my mind! It was like some door to the magical world of makeup was finally open to me. I was mesmerized by her work. I worked up the courage and recreated her Nightmare Before Christmas eye scene. My corrupted way of thinking about makeup had been broken! I was pushed into a whole other side of makeup. The beautiful, colorful, expressive, and fun side. Where you could be neutral but also dramatic and wild!
I found out in makeup that there are no rules except the ones you make for yourself. As long as you feel confident and beautiful you should stay strong and true to yourself. Don't worry about what others think. Even if you do something horrible because you'll learn from it.
On February 19th 2011 (my 20th birthday) my mom bought me everything that wasn't sold out from Sugarpill that got my crazy collection started. On March 1st 2011 I made my Facebook makeup page and I've grown so much from there. I still have a lot to learn but I've met so many great people that help with that. Some favorites are: Makeup Frenzy (helped so much with my cut creases), MrsElegantBeauty (helped me with my blending), Jaynicole's MakeupWorld (also helped with my blending), Brittany Couture, Sarah Chambers, GlitterGirlC, Under BLUE Lights, PureBlackLove,  Sarah Mitchell Makeup, Mrralphie, Kikimakeup, luciferismydad (from Instagram), grzee makeup art, and Makeup by Judith are just a few! Everyone who loves and does makeup, regardless of their skill level, inspires me. I wish I could name them all!
My favorite beauty brands are Sugarpill, Bh Cosmetics, Lime Crime, Stella Starish, Nyx, and Wet N' Wild. I would love to try La Belle Boutiek.
This is one of my favorite looks because it is colorful and crazy dramatic. Everything I thought I would never be able to do. It is also inspired by an amazing makeup artist, Rose Shock, who always inspires me.

Amanda Graham !

Amanda Graham is a newbie to the makeup industry, I want to thank her for giving me the honor to feature her and help her gain some exposure. She is very talented and has a very bright future ahead of her. Here is her story:
I have loved makeup for as long as I can remember. Like boys trade baseball cards in elementary school, my best friend and I would trade makeup. I have been doing my makeup in ways that have people stopping and staring for years... I don't always think it's because they admire my look but because they probably assume I wear too much makeup. My inspirations from my looks come from everywhere! While I'm just getting started on facebook, I've been doing this for years. My inspirations come from other makeup artists, from cartoons, video games, nature, anywhere you can possible think of I will find my inspiration. While my looks aren't always perfect, I'm striving to get better. While I love and admire all makeup artists, one of my first inspirations is Megan Martinez. I love that she came from nothing and created such a name for herself at such a young age. Her looks are truly incredible and she is a true artist. One of my favorite looks I created was one that I did when I was going through a breakup with my fiance. I wanted to create the look of tears but I wanted them to be beautiful because I feel that crying helped cleanse my soul. Doing this look truly helped me realize and realize that I needed a man that made me smile, never needed one that made me cry. :) My favorite beauty brand would definitely have to be Sugarpill. I use their products in so many of my looks, their products are just so pigmented and they help me think outside of the box with all of their amazing colors.

Makeup By Yaya !

I browse Facebook for talented artists to feature so when I saw a pic from this artist, I was so impressed with what I saw that I just had to ask if I could feature her. Makeup by Yaya is an example of where I want to get to someday, she is truly a talented MUA and also a very nice person. I want to thank her for allowing me to do this feature on her.
Makeup By Yaya Response: I'm a self-taught makeup artist. I began experimenting with makeup at a very young age. I was always intrigued by the makeup on the models in magazines. I tried to imitate the looks by practicing on my friends and family members. In high school, I took a few cosmetology classes. I entered in few contests earning 2nd place in a hair show. Inspirations I have many for example everything with color, nature, candy,a song and life itself inspire me to do some of the looks i've created. The are many MUA'S with talent, But few inspire me. Spells and Stilettos

I have been trying to get a hold of this lady so I can feature her, I thought she had her own cosmetics company but to my surprise she doesn't, in all honesty I think she should. I am a huge fan of Spells and Stilettos and I am honored that she let me feature her on my blog.

" Hi I'm Liz from Spells and Stilettos! SS is a review page for Indie makeup and products. I started the page about 1 year ago after an awful buying experience with an indie brand. I thought, 'More people need to know about this'. After starting it as just a review page, I became involved in doing full face/eye makeup looks for contests. There after my page became a place for my looks and reviews. I have worked with several indie companies as a model/promoter. Most notably with Southern Sweetheart Cosmetics, which sadly now is no longer in business. I work closely now with Plum Valley Designs and GnG cosmetic's. Besides companies mentioned, I also really love pigments and the Type O lip stain from Mon Ennui. Pretty Addiction's blush, and Glosses and Lotions from My Beauty addiction are also some of my favorites! My page is a fun place to share looks, play fun games and interact with everyone who enjoys makeup!

Chris Clark: Independant Consultant for Paparazzi Accesories

This is my first accessories feature, thank you Chris Clark for letting me do this for you. I took a look at all your pics and I saw some really nice stuff. I wish you lots of luck as an Independent Consultant, I know you will have good things happening in the near future.
I have only been a Paparazzi consultant for 4 days, I signed up 2 weeks ago and just got my kit on Tuesday. I have done other direct sales programs in the past but Paparazzi is new and exciting. We've all been to the jewelry parties where everything is so expensive and you feel obligated to buy. Well Paparazzi has a fresh new approach, everything is $5, yes I said $5.. I was introduced to Paparazzi at a craft/vendor show that I organize, the items are trendy and you can find something to go with any outfit. So many colors to choose from. They don't have all those catalogs you have to buy to market your items, it's all cash-n-carry. I took a few items into my work and sold 3 items almost as soon as I walked in the door. It's a fantastic opportunity, the company is only 2 years old and is growing quickly. We sell, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, hair-clips and headbands. I have attached a few pics.

Surreal Makeup Review

I am on Facebook everyday and I see pics from promoters and others using different companies products and sometimes from pics you really can't see the full effect of the color and the shimmer. Surreal Makeup has truly impressed me and I can't say that about too many products out there today. When I first opened the jar of day dream I spilt a little bit on the bathroom counter and I swear the shine was just beautiful, the metallic and the shimmer is just incredible. I truly love Surreal Makeup, it stays on all day and the color doesn't fade on bit, it looks like I just applied it. The pics below do not give it justice, I highly recommend trying it for yourself. You hit the jackpot Amanda !!

Surreal Makeup !

I want to thank Surreal Makeup for giving me this interview. There products are amazing, and I'm just not saying that. I had the pleasure of trying out eyeshadows from Surreal Makeup and I really don't have the right words to even describe how awesome they are. I am a very lucky person to have had the opportunity to try the products and do this interview.
Q1: My first question is, how long have you been in the beauty business? A: I have been in the beauty business for 2 years. Q2: What prompted you to start Surreal Makeup. A: Severe allergies to most cosmetic brands on the market. I had met a friend who worked as a chemist for a major cosmetic company that took the time to show me how to create hypo- allergenic mineral makeup that I could wear without reaction. Many compliments from friends, colleagues as well as complete strangers prompted me to start Surreal Makeup. Q3: How long has the company been around? A: 2 Years Q4: What inspires color choices for eye shadows and other cosmetics including body and bath products? A: I would have to say that my inspirations are rainbows & unicorns, life, fantasy art, anime, rock music, Disney, heavy metal and video games. These are the things around me that bring me happiness and are filled with beautiful colors. Q5: What is your most popular selling item? A: Mineral Eyeshadow, my most popular color is Sandy Beach. It is a bone ivory shimmer that blends well and compliments several other colors in Surreal Makeup's product line. About Surreal Makeup, LLC: Surreal Makeup LLC. was founded in 2011 with the sole purpose of providing top quality cosmetic products for a fraction of the cost of big name retailers. The Owner of Surreal Makeup LLC. started to acquire allergies to the lakes, dyes and chemicals found in other major brand cosmetics on the market and could no longer wear them. With the help of a friend who worked as a chemist for a major cosmetic brand she was able to create her own mineral cosmetics without lakes, dyes or harsh chemicals. She was able to wear these cosmetics without allergic reaction and the color stayed vibrant all day. The color and vibrancy of this makeup attracted a lot of attention and people started taking notice and were asking where they could buy some as well. Thus, Surreal Makeup LLC. was created. Surreal Makeup LLC. originally had 20 colors of eye shadow available for purchase and has grown in the past year to 240 eye shadow colorsas well as Body Glitz, U/V Black-light Glitter, Foundation and much more. Surreal Makeup is 100% pure minerals with no lake, dyes or harsh chemicals. It is hypo-allergenic, naturally water resistant and makes a great sports or performance makeup as it will not run when you perspire. The color lasts all day without folding in the creases of your eye lids as there is no organic fillers that bind when wet. Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide top of the line quality cosmetic products that are more vibrant, last longer and are better for your skin at a fraction of the cost of major retail brands on the market. Product Information: 100% pure mineral makeup with no lakes, dyes, talc or chemicals. Surreal Makeup has no organic fillers and is hypo-allergenic, super pigmented so the color lasts all day without having to continually re-apply. Inorganic minerals are naturally water resistant. Surreal Makeup makes perfect performance or sport makeup as it does not run or fade when sweating. There are no organic fillers so our makeup does not fold into the eye lid easily and rarely creases. Surreal Makeup is light and virtually weightless. You would forget your wearing it if not for the many compliments you will receive while wearing our vibrant makeup. At the end of the day, our makeup cleans up simply and easily with either soap and water or a moist baby wipe. No more harsh chemicals or makeup remover to ruin your skin! We are animal lovers at Surreal Makeup. We never test our product on animals! There is a reason it is called Surreal Makeup. Employees: Myself - Amanda Baker My husband Bryan is very supportive of my business and volunteers from time to time. What to Expect n 2013: More vibrant colors, more contests and customer involvement, more expos and possibly an improved more streamlined surrealmakeup.com

Lali's Boutique

I have hit the jackpot on every beauty product I have tried. I bet you all are tired of reading positive reviews from me on products but I only speak the truth on the products I have tried. Lali's Boutique is not a huge name brand company but they are well on their way to becoming one. As you can see below from my pics, her products look amazing. Out of the shadows that I tried from Lali's Boutique my favorites are Amor and Candy Cane. Amor because of its vibrant color of blue and Candy Cane because of the metallic hint of pink. Once again, the one big problem I have with store bought shadows is the crease it leaves in the middle of my eye by the end of the day. So far I have been lucky and have not had any problem with any of shadows I have been sent. Each company has its own unique quality and thats what I appreciate. Laura Carlos, you have a fantastic product and I see a bright future ahead for you and Lali's Boutique.

Tamara Allen Independent Consultant for Jamberry Nails !

I am happy to feature Tamara Allen from Jamberry Nails ! I have heard a little bit about this company in the past but never thought about trying the product. After reading Tamara's feature and the press release, I am more interested in trying Jamberry Nails !  Enjoy the feature !
I just started my nail career this month after I fell in love with the Jamberry Nails product.  You can only get this product from an Independent Consultant, so I decided to become one, since it seemed like it would be fun to share this nail product with other women.  It is easy to get started as a consultant by signing up through an existing consultant.  Below is a press release from Jamberry Nails that tells all about the company and the nail products.  I also attached a flyer with another description and pics of the shields and a pic of my own nails with the shields on them.

Press Release:
PRESS RELEASE: JAMBERRY NAILS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jamberry Nails recently announced their official launch into the direct sales party plan industry during a consultant conference in Salt Lake City Utah, on Saturday, June 9th 2012. Jamberry Nails has been in pre-launch operations in the direct sale industry since July of 2011. Growth has been at a rapid rate with more than 4,000 independent consultants enrolled during the last ten months.

Jamberry Nails was the creative concept of three sisters: Keri Evans, Christy Hepworth and Lyndsey Ekstrom, who are passionate about their own nails. After being at a salon receiving pedicures, the three sisters put their heads together and designed nail shields that could be put on in the comfort of their own home. The result: nail shields in an array of artistic colors and eye-catching designs. The nail shields are safer than conventional products, with no harsh chemicals, and last approximately 2-3 weeks for fingers and 6-8 weeks on toes. The idea has rapidly become a national fashion craze, positioning the company for exponential growth.

Jennifer Harmon, Business Development Director for Jamberry Nails, stated “The Company is dedicated to making an income possible for their independent consultants with a low start-up cost and a generous payout plan. The start-up kit is under $100, plus tax and shipping. We already have several consultants working their business part-time and earning a substantial income.

Hepworth reports, “People love Jamberry Nails because of how easily they can be applied and how many different looks you can achieve by mixing and matching over 250 designs. Our nail shields give a high-end salon look in the convenience of the customer’s own home.” She added, “The Company allows us to creatively express ourselves even though we spend our days just like other typical mothers. Jamberry Nails embodies everything we love about looking great, keeping the family expenses down, having fun and being together with our kids.”

Jamberry Nails is pleased to announce Tamara Allen as a local Jamberry Nails Independent Consultant. For more information about the business opportunity with Jamberry Nails, to purchase the nail shields, or book an in-home party, visit Tamara’s website at http://tamaraallen.jamberrynails.net  or directly contact the company at jamberrynails.net.

GlamGore Makeup !

I want to especially thank GlamGore Makeup for doing this feature. I have learned from doing these features that is more to makeup than just the ordinary eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara, etc. I only thought we saw special effect makeup on Halloween but was I wrong. I truly admire these makeup artists who devote themselves to the art of makeup and special effects. Thank you GlamGore and others for making me see makeup for the true art it is.
I'm not quite sure how to start, so I guess I will just dive in! If you ask my mom, she would tell you I've been in love with makeup since I was about 5. I loved being done up for my dance recitals and pictures. I remember I had Tinkerbell makeup that I would put on for school and think I just looked amazing. When I got a little older I started doing plays and musicals with my older brother. I would help out with the makeup for those productions. By the end of high school I had my own makeup table I'd set up before the show and I'd have a line of people wanting me to do their make up. When I was about 15 I got a job on a haunted hay ride as a "thriller" zombie, and I had to make my self up every night before work. That's were I found my love for gore and SPFX makeup. I had always loved horror movies and the look of the SPFX makeup, and it was then that I decided that I really wanted to be a makeup artist. While I was still in high school I received my New York state cosmetology license and decided to furthered my training at Complections International located in Toronto Canada. They had a mastery makeup program that covered beauty, fashion, theater, movie, and SPFX makeup as well as an animatronics course.
After I graduated high school in the spring of 2006 I moved to Toronto for a year and learn from some of the best in the industry. Since I graduated from Complections I have been a freelance makeup artist. I've worked with Eerie productions at their Fright World attraction in Buffalo NY for a couple season, and then Moved to Iowa. Since living in Iowa I have worked with the wig crew of Young Frankenstein when it toured through Davenport, I have been expanding my bridal clients, worked with local theater  and have done numerous photo shoots with models of all shapes and sizes, creating everything from beautiful pins up to blood covered zombies. I could never pick which one I like making up more. That's why I chose the name of GlamGore Makeup. I find inspiration for my looks from everything I see- the colors in the sky, the people I meet and any experience that I can get.
I personally love the beauty work done by the Makeup Forever team, as well as Megan Martinez of Chaos Makeup. Rick Baker, Dick Smith and Tom Salvini are true masters of horror to me. Some of my favorite make up brands include Makeup Forever, Dior, Urban Decay, Dinair, Smashbox, Two Faced, Ben Nye, Kryolan and Skin Illustrator. Plus I always have a running list of new products to try.
The photo that I have attached is my main logo photo. It is one of my favorites because I actually made half her face pretty, half beat up. I truly made her GlamGore.

Lenabug's Makeup Land !

I want to LenaBug's for doing this feature for me. As you can see from the pic above, this is why I came to her and asked for this feature, she is so talented and her makeup is just off the hook ! Please enjoy this feature and give Lenabug's Makeup land some love !
I've always loved makeup since I was a little girl, but I'd say I really found my passion for it about 2 years ago. I started watching some videos on youtube. I remember I was trying to learn how to clean my makeup brushes and found a Kandee Johnson video and I was immediately sucked in, and before I new it I was watching makeup videos almost during all of my free time. I started entering Facebook contests and then shortly after I decided to create my own makeup page. In January 2012 is when I decided to start my Youtube channel. Unfortunately 2012 brought some pretty horrible events to my family and I wasn't able to put as much into my channel and page as I wanted to, but I'm determined to make 2013 a better year and I'm really excited to put more into my makeup life.
My inspirations come from all around me. Tv, movies, nature, other MUA's, etc. I'd have to say what really gets me excited about makeup though is Special effects makeup (zombies, cuts, bruises, etc.) and Fantasy makeup. I get all giddy inside lol. I actually started a 5 week SPFX class this week.  I want to learn everything I can about SPFX.
I'd have to say my favorite MUA if I had to choose is GoldieStarling. I think her work is just absolutely incredible. If I want to learn how to do something gory or bloody lol her videos are my go to, but I also love everything else she does aswell.
As for my favorite makeup brand...that is a really hard to just choose one. For every day makeup i'd say it would have to be Urban Decay (I'm a NAKED palette junkie) and for SPFX that would have to be Mehron.

Cosmetic Zombie !

Every Tuesday Night I sit and watch Face-off and admire all the make up artists that are featured on that show. It literally takes a lot of talent to be a makeup artist and this person has it. Arlene aka Cosmetic Zombie has been an admire of makeup for a long time now and I often wonder how one becomes a makeup artist, this is Arlene's story so sit back and enjoy.
I've been an artist my whole life and love having many mediums. I have also loved makeup for a long time, so it was honestly only a matter of time before those two would collide. I love learning, so I soak up as much as I can as far as techniques and styles go- I pick what I do and don't like, I don't always do the trendy thing. I like networking with other enthusiasts, gurus, and MUAs, even tho I have been a little out of the makeup world lately, but always vigilant! My job has been my primary focus. I plan on making a big return soon. My fave chicas are Vivi from Mon Ennui, Hailey from Boggs Beauty Reviews, Kas from Pretty Addictions (one of the first companies facebook led me to!), Misty H. from Beauty by Misty, and soooooooooooooo many others!!! I don't have a favorite brand, each has strengths and weaknesses and I like variety.

Adrienne Giovenello !

As you all can see from the above pic, Adrienne is a very talented makeup artist and I am very happy that she chose me to do this feature. Her story is short but it's to the point and you all will be amazed at what she's done. Here is her story:
Well, I started doing makeup in 1st grade. Just lip stick, nothing special. I gradually started to wear more as I got older. when I was 23, I believe I went to college to be an Esthetician and make up artist. But I still want to do special effects like KNB, or Tom Savini.
I do different looks everyday so I don't get bored easily. I just look at my make up usually and think what would look good.
My favorite artists are Kandee Johnson, Marlena or Makeupgeek, Profoundtorture (youtube), and my BFF Toxikandy.
My favorite brands are mac, urban decay, my beauty addiction, fantastic faces, and makeup fairyz

Nikki Sweetalla !

I want to thank Nikki for this feature, she came to me at a really difficult time and asked to be featured. I really appreciate her and everyone for believing in me and in my talents. Nikki has a great future in the world of makeup, her art of blending and her uses of vibrant colors are just amazing to the eye. Here is her story:
My make up history is long and short at the same time. I just started in the last year really getting into it and trying new things other then everyday wear. I got out of my comfort zone and started experimenting. I have always loved bright colors and have always worn them in my eye shadows but nothing like I do now. It used to be more subtle. I have loved make up since I was a kid. Like every other kid I played in my moms and always wanted my own. I wasn't allowed to wear my make up until I hit high school but I used to sneak eyeliner and mascara in my back pack. Put it on at school and take it off at school everyday. I was allowed to use Wet n' wilds gel clear iridescent glitter since I was a kid though. And I think thats where part of my love for sparkle comes from. :) I love glitter and all things that sparkle. Glitter is usually what inspires me to do looks because I want to do something with glitter. I try to pull other inspiration from color combos, from my family (who are the best family anyone can ask for. They all support me 110% and encourage me), as well as everyday things I see. I work full time overnights as a desk clerk and go to school full time so I don't really have the time when schools in session to practice like i'd like too, so that stifles my inspiration. I am trying to get into the MUA community and learn from those who inspire me, the one I look up to and ones who just have awe inspiring talent. Two of my favorite MUA's other then me is Brittany Couture. I love everything she does and her use of color. And MadeULook by Lex. She has talent oozing out of her and every look she does is shows how much she has practiced. They are both fantastic artists. I strive to be even half as good as they are. I would love to re-create some of their looks but since I do think so highly of them it scares me to try to. I know it wouldn't be as good as theirs. I am still a beginner and I will probably always consider myself that. We are always our own toughest critics. I just need more practice and maybe a little guidance here and there. :) It was those two ladies who inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and try something new and try to get involved in MUA community. I can't pick just one favorite brand they all have pros and cons. My more recently found companies that I love though are Rag Dolls Beauty and Candii Blossom cosmetics. I love their pigments and how the colors blend together. They all seem to compliment each other in different ways. Most of my looks are done using one or the other if not both. In the picture I used both companies to get my looks. The purple one is a purple and silver look I did for a contest that I really wanted to enter for MadeULook by Lex, but I missed the deadline. Working nights screw with my schedule and time perception lol. It was for her awareness contest and the purple and silver were colors I chose to do for my aunt. Purple is for migraine awareness and the silver is for brain cancer. The other look was just for my birthday and I wanted to play with colors. :) These are my favorite looks I've done so far because of the colors I used and how they turned out in the end. The color one is my favorite because i'd wear it for everyday makeup and the purple one I worked really hard on it meant a lot to me.

Andrea Clem of Glitterfied Nails !

Ever wanted to know how to make your own nail polish? Well, Andrea Clem does and she's great at it ! Her colors are bright and vibrant and the glitter she adds in them just adds an extra sparkle to them. Read her story and please take time to visit her etsy page http://www.glitterfiednails.com/ and follow.
Honestly, my nail “career” is just beginning.  If somebody had told me 2 months ago I’d be making nail polish and selling it on Etsy, I would have laughed.  It was strong encouragement from my darling hubby and some research plus my LOVE of glitter that got me motivated to pursue this avenue.  I’ve been looking for a while for something that I could make for resale.  I even blogged for a while (oasisaccents.com) and have an Etsy shop selling vintage kitchen, housewares and décor items.  But I still yearned to be more creative and to make something that others would love as much as I did.

I’ve always loved glitter polishes but hated how hard they were to remove.  Then came Pinterest!  Hallelujah!  The foil method was all I really needed to learn to make me excited about making my own glitter polishes for sale.

I use a suspension fluid that is made specifically to keep the glitter from sinking to the bottom and is 3 Free (meaning No Toluene, No Formaldehyde, and No DBP [the Toxic Trio]).  All of my glitters are solvent resistant to prevent bleeding and curling.  I will occasionally use cosmetic grade pigments and/or existing pre-made polishes only when I want the base to be colored instead of clear.  I also draw upon my background in interior design for my color combos.  All polishes are hand-crafted by me alone.

Laura Carlos !

I did an interview with Laura for her company Lali's Boutique but wanted to also give her some exposure, Laura also does looks and from the pic above, it seems like she does really great looks. Laura has quite a story to share with all of you so sit back and enjoy !
My name is Laura Carlos and YES, I am a makeup addict :) I am not a certified MUA, however I am working on enrolling in beauty school soon. I did not always have this passion for makeup. It all started only 2 years ago in 2011. Going through a magazine at the doctor's office, I saw some beautiful makeup and challenged myself to recreate the looks. I know, it's so wrong to do, but I tore off the pages and took them home :) I only had a very limited collection. Some eye shadows, some lip gloss and of course eyeliner and mascara. I used what I had and spend hours attempting to recreate looks I found in magazines. In late 2011 I began to buy makeup and as my collection got bigger and bigger, so did my passion. I started getting a little better, but I know I have a long way to go. I didn't really wear the looks outside of home. Then.......I started working as a cocktail waitress and saw this as the opportunity to bring some of those looks past my front door :) I began to just have fun with colors and tried new looks, created my own looks and I got really comfortable with it. In August of 2012 I started Lali's Boutique, and much like my inspiration to create new colors, my looks are inspired by my children and everyday life. What I'm wearing, something my kids are wearing, an idea my kids may have for color combination, etc. I let life guide me. Who is my favorite MUA? I am inspired my many great artists, but I must say, I have learned sooooo much by watching 2 of my favorites, Tatiana Ward of BeatFaceHoney (Youtube) and Destiny Godley (Youtube). These girls are so talented and I'm super grateful that they are open to sharing with us. I have attempted to recreate some of their looks too and again, I have lots to learn, but I enjoy watching them and have fun doing it. My favorite beauty brand, besides the cosmetics I make myself (Lali's Boutique: https://www.facebook.com/lalisboutique), is MAC and BH Cosmetics. I have tried many other brands and these are the 2 that work for me. They give me the best coverage and they have amazing colors. One of my latest looks I did using "Baby J" is so far, one of my favorite looks. I usually do not use really deep/dark colors, because I feel it's harder to blend and give that seamless transition from one color the other. But I feel it wasn't to bad :) Thank you for the opportunity to tell you a bit about myself and my passion for makeup ♥ -Laura Carlos

Beauty Bytes and La Belle Boutiek make amends !

Hello Everyone, In regards to all the bashing to Beauty Bytes and to myself La Belle Boutiek, we are both adults and are going to act that way. We are both very sorry if this has caused any of you discomfort or mixed emotions. We both have agreed that someone has done those screen shots. Beauty Bytes reputation and La Belle Boutiek's reputation have both gone down alot. My customers and people who want to purchase have thought twice because of some of the comments left are from people who never purchased one product from me and wrote horrible things. We both feel we want to move on and forget about the whole incident. The real person or persons who did this will soon come out and karma will get to them. So before I make this too long I want to say I am open to questions if any of you want to ask them. Beauty Bytes and myself La Belle Boutiek, are on good terms and we're looking forward To a New Beginning. To add to La Belle Boutieks statement, Beauty Bytes just wants to add that this is the beginning of the end of the beauty bullying. I’m happy to announce that both myself and La Boutiek has made amends, I have personally tried her products and all the accusations that have been made against her products are false. I liked her products from the very beginning because of how they looked and how vibrant the colors are. Whoever has bad mouthed her or her company please know that we are all here to make amends and try to get along, that is the whole purpose for my anti beauty bullying campaign. So to recap, La Boutiek and Beauty Bytes have made amends and will look forward to 2013 being a good year for all the parties involved.

Rosanne Willebrand !

Rosanne Willebrand is a newbie to the makeup world just like myself and I admire her for trying to get her name out there and I am really honored that she chose me in helping do it. I like her use of colors and her blending is really good. Like myself, she is not afraid to let people see her unique style and look. Thank  you Rosanne for allowing me to do this feature.
I am a newbie in the makeup world. I never really stayed from browns until last spring when I was introduced to pigmented eyeshadow. I am influenced by Renee Carrion, she continues to teach me how to do it and what to use to apply it. My inspiration for my looks are the mood I am in that day. The colors reflect what I am feeling. I have a few favorite MUA's Lucy D. Fairyz, Renee Carrion and MsElgantBeauty. Their makeup looks help me to want to work outside the box and try new things. My favorite picture is my tweety inspired look. This is the first look I did that stood out from the rest. My favorite brand is Makeup Fairyz. I love the variety of colors and I use more than just the eyeshadows but the beauty products as well. It was the first pigment that I had ever used and I fell in love with it.
